The 19th Annual Young Investigator Award (YIA) in cardiovascular computed tomography program is intended to promote the research and writing skills of the trainees, as well as their oral presentation skills, and may provide the catalyst for some trainees to become future thought leaders in the field of cardiovascular imaging. This online event will allow the full SCCT community to hear the finalists' presentations and discover up-and-comers in the field. This is a FREE event.

2025 SCCT Young Investigator Award Presentations

Join us for the presentation of the top abstracts submitted to SCCT2025 from authors that are within five years of completing their training program. The top scorers will present their research and answer questions.

The 19th Annual Young Investigator Award (YIA) in cardiovascular computed tomography program is intended to promote the research and writing skills of the trainees, as well as their oral presentation skills, and may provide the catalyst for some trainees to become future thought leaders in the field of cardiovascular imaging. This online event will allow the full SCCT community to hear the finalists' presentations and discover up-and-comers in the field.

Each of the finalists will present their research and then take questions from the audience.

Winners will be announced during the SCCT2025 Annual Scientific Meeting in Montréal, QC, Canada.

  • Winner: $1,000, complimentary registration to SCCT2026 and one-year SCCT membership

  • 1st Runner up: $1,000, complimentary registration to SCCT2026 and one-year SCCT membership

  • Runners- up: $500 and one-year SCCT membership
