CCTA reimbursement

 

In this 25 minute webcast SCCT Advocacy Committee Chair, Dustin Thomas, MD, FSCCT will highlight some of the challenges currently facing cardiac CT reimbursement and discusses specific interventions each SCCT member can take in their local hospital systems and payer community to improve coverage and reimbursement.

 

Medicare Targeted Probe and Educate

Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) have created webinars, YouTube videos and other informational resources to communicate about the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Targeted Probe and Educate initiative. This initiative is aimed to strengthen Medicare's review of claims and medical record documentation.

Some SCCT members have had recent experience with being selected for this review. SCCT encourages all providers to take time to view these important materials.
