Coronary CTA Academy - Full Day
July 10, 2019 | 8am - 6pm
Chairs: Maros Ferencik, MD, PhD, MCR, FSCCT and Brian Ghoshhajra, MD, MBA, FSCCT
Mentored interpretation of coronary CTA on dedicated cardiac CT workstations. Learn to read cardiac CT scans using various post-processing tools, interpret coronary artery disease, and handle common artifacts. All cases will be accompanied by correlation with invasive coronary angiography and clinical scenario. Workshop includes 25 hands-on cases.
Learning objectives:
- Apply cardiac workstation and available post-processing techniques to interpret coronary CT angiograms.
- Diagnose and report coronary artery disease on CT angiograms and correlate the results with invasive coronary angiography.
- Recognize the strengths and pitfalls of coronary CT angiography.

Mentored interpretation of advanced coronary CTA on dedicated cardiac CT workstations. Learn to read advanced cases including advanced coronary artery disease cases, coronary artery bypass cases, stent evaluation, and complex non-coronary anatomy. Master the use of post-processing tools for the interpretation of coronary CTA images, recognition of artifacts and solving clinical problems. Workshop includes 15 hands-on cases.
Learning objectives:
- Apply post-processing techniques to interpret advanced coronary CT angiograms.
