|Healthcare Policy Summit Recap|
On November 4-5, 2016, the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography in collaboration with Rush University Medical Center organized a Healthcare Policy Summit to advance the cause of patient-centered imaging. Stakeholders in patient care gathered to evaluate multiple visions for patient-centered imaging models where CCTA can be integrated to result with the best experience and outcomes for our patients.
The Summit was a great success! The meeting brought together imaging and policy experts, payers, and benefit managers to critically appraise the current literature and the most appropriate role of cardiovascular CT in improving the care and outcomes of patients.
The Summit also successfully established a common commitment towards patient-centered care driven by guidelines, education, and research in order to promote cost-effective care and improved patient-centered outcomes.
