Event Details
Workshop Description Step into an immersive 6-hour masterclass that will transform your expertise in cardiovascular computed tomography (CCT) for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). Guided by world-renowned experts Drs. James Lee, John Dawdy and Roosha Parikh, this high-impact workshop offers a deep dive into some of the most challenging and cutting-edge aspects of TAVR imaging.

Through an interactive, case-based format, you’ll gain hands-on experience navigating complex TAVR scenarios — from bicuspid valve evaluation and valve-in-valve procedures to advanced coronary protection strategies like BASILICA. The session will also equip you with advanced insights into high-risk vascular access techniques, including transcaval, subclavian, and carotid approaches — empowering you to make confident, precise decisions in the most demanding clinical environments.

Participants will explore post-TAVR CT analysis, mastering the identification of key findings such as hypoattenuation leaflet thickening and paravalvular leak (PVL) closure. Every case discussion is designed to translate directly into real-world application, giving you tools to elevate patient outcomes and enhance procedural success.

Whether you’re an experienced practitioner or eager to expand your expertise, this workshop offers an unparalleled opportunity to sharpen your diagnostic acumen, refine your technical strategies, and connect with fellow leaders in cardiovascular imaging.
Learning Objectives
Master Complex TAVR Analysis:
Confidently interpret and manage challenging TAVR cases—including bicuspid valves and valve-in-valve scenarios—using advanced imaging strategies and innovative techniques like BASILICA to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Advance Vascular Access Expertise:
Develop proficiency in high-risk vascular access planning, with hands-on exposure to transcaval, subclavian, and carotid techniques that enhance procedural safety, precision, and confidence.

Elevate Post-TAVR Evaluation:
Perform comprehensive post-TAVR CT assessments, accurately recognizing critical indicators such as leaflet mobility and paravalvular leak closure to refine clinical decision-making and optimize patient care strategies.
