SCCT's statement on the use of CCT amidst the COVID pandemic 0 R. Blankstein Our board and staff members want to send our best wishes for health and safety during this challenging and truly unprecedented time.  Many of our members are on the frontlines of the COVID-19 battle. Whether interpreting scans, treating patients, or helping our hospitals and communities, we are all fighting this together. SCCT has created Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography Guidance for Use of Cardiac Computed Tomography Amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic. Given the need to defer non-urgent visits, this document provides some guidance on factors to consider when deciding on the timing of various cardiac CT tests.  We anticipate that many of these recommendations could change over time, and we will provide updates on our website. If there is one thing the world is learning, it is that health care providers are heroes, and that includes our SCCT members around the globe.   Please use this forum to share best practice around COVID-19 and discuss how the pandemic has affected your practice and your patients.
