Comment: Excellent course with very extensive and detailed case library in addition to many great live cases (>50). The hospitality could be no better as the transportation was arranged and all meals are much better than any other conference I have ever attended. The teaching is great, and it is a fun and humorous group of teachers. You will be confident in your skills and very pleased with the course; it is EXCELLENT! Would challenge you to take this great experience in your training and you will be more than prepared upon completion, and I know you will be pleased as is every person in my group.

Comment: First class training by world class interrpeters. They were present the entire course (including self review caes). eager to help one on one from start to finish. The 54 live, mentored cases were outstanding. Their vast and thorough library of cases covered the gamut of cardiac diseases as well as unusual extra-cardiac findings accounting for cardiac symptomatology. Post-course support, cases to maintain certification while growing your own orogram plus free board review education (included in the Level II fee) are unique. The excellence and energy of the instructors was worth the course fee alone. The best training course and value I have been to in my 27 years of practice.
05/18/2010
Comment: Excellent course. I would recommend it for any physician who wants to learn this procedure.
05/18/2010
Comment: Wow!!!Great course, learned a lot, got a much better perspective of cardiac anatomy. Food was awesome. Teachers were great. They made it a lot of fun and were very helpful. A little more focus on computer instruction would be helpful as well as at the very beginning, a basic run through on the general anatomy. There are a lot of ways to look a things most of that just comes with practice. Keep up the good work and appreciate the future support. Scheduling half the course on the weekend was a huge plus.
05/18/2010
Comment: Absolutely fabulous. Very well-designed and co-ordinated course. Makes you understand the process, makes you comfortable about reading and teaches you the indications. Good enough for me to come back and take it again. Highly recommended.

Comment: This was an excellent and very comprehensive course. After the 4 day program for Level II training I am very comfortable with the work stations as well as the interpretations of CTA. The instructors are excellent and focussed on making sure everyone understands the fundamentals as well as the subtleties of the modality. The live cases and library cases are excellent. I had some previous training at other institustions in Cardiac CT, but this class was far superior and my comfort level has increased significantly.
05/18/2010

05/18/2010
Comment: This is a great course with comprehensive overview of the technology, technique, and reading skills. Attention is given to congenital, coronary and valvular disease. Considerable time is devoted to "hands on" reading of studies with faculty supervision. You will leave with comprehensive understanding of indications for CTA and the confidence and ability to begin to read studies. You will also have a much improved grasp of 3D chest and cardiac anatomy.
05/18/2010
Comment: Well thought out program. It is easy to tell the progam is a seasoned program and the bugs have been worked out of the system. The staff are good teachers and very friendly. It'r really impressive to see 50 (+) patients go through a CT scanner in two days. The text is very helpful. Read the full text before coming to the class if time permits.

Comment: I have attended level II cardiac CTA course at Christ Hospital proctored by Drs. Pelberg, Szawaluk & Mazur. Having attended few courses at other sites, I can confidently say that this course is one of the best I have attended. The content and volume of cases, level and style of proctorship, and excellent documentation of cases done is fantastic. Attendees also have the choice to work on Vital Images and/or Tera Recon work stations. After attending this course one will feel very comfortable independently reading cardiac CTA. I highly recommend this course.
11/10/2009

Complete with introduction to CT coronary angiography, lectures that are also provided on DVD for your personal future review, a CT manual, and an amazing diversity of pathology in their library. Easily over 50 live cases. The course staff are superb and student to instructor ratio is excellent. Would recommend highly to anyone interested in cardiac CT training.
05/23/2009
Comment: One of the best courses I have ever taken! Absolutely worth each and every minute of my time. Very well organized course. I loved the idea of going over the lectures on DVD and the book before coming to the course. There was no time wasted on lectures, as learners at our level are very responsible, generally, and appreciate the emphasis on hands on training, over and above didactic lectures. The book is extremely well written for a practicing clinical cardiologist, targeting almost all the needs, except for what indications are being paid for by insurances in different states. This would be a very welcome addition to the course in future, to add a page or two in the course materials regarding indications generally covered by the insurances. You can start just with the state of Ohio and add more later. Excellent case library with case mix representing not just CAD, but complex and simple congenitial heart disease, PE and aortic dissections as well. All the instructors are excellent, with their passion for teaching that clearly shines through, especially Dr Mazur.

Comment: (Cairo, Egypt)

It is really an excellent course that made me feel that cardiac CT is a very easy work to do especially after revising the huge library & the variety of cases whether ischemic or congenital. It gave me self confidence to proceed easily in this field. I don't forget the very nice environment & the hospitality of dr. Mazur, dr. Pelberg & dr. Clarke as well as David Collins who made every thing as "a piece of cake" for us. It is really a wonderful team & I would like to thank them all.

Comment: (Melbourne, Australia)

An extremely well organised program with instructors and staff making every effort to ensure a great, well-rounded learning experience in cardiac CTA. Teaching was tailored to individual needs. My live case exposure was from nursing admission to patient discharge. Spectrum of cases in the library ranges from straight forward to complex CAD and CABG cases to uncommon cardiac pathologies. I had a most positive experience--much recommended!
05/17/2008
Comment: This was my 3rd course and hands down the best!!! They had the most efficient team to ensure that our requirements were met. They were able to preform 50 live cases in an organized and friendly fashion. Transportation to the facility was pre-arranged and the facility was comfortable. The physicians were incredibly knowlegable and refreshingly enthusiastic about the technology and what it offers the clinician. Dr. Mazur and Dr. Pelberg were great teachers. I recommend this to anyone. I will attend again!!
05/13/2008
Comment: Great cource. Very experienced and fun mentors. Came in with no cardiac CTA expeince, after 4 days feel very comfortable interpreting even complex cases. Will definitly come back for peripheral CTA. Food was excellent too. One of best learning experince that I have ever had
05/13/2008
Comment: The only place in the country where you can learn a new imaging modality in 4 days! This course was extremely well managed, and very comprehensive. You receive CT manual and DVD before the course and you are constantly updated until you arrive. Housing arrangements and food was perfect. We were able to learn on station of our choice. Faculty was in the room for all four days and application techs were at hand as well. Letter of completion and certificates were availalbe immediately afterwards. We were able to get the image library on personal hard drives. Excellent job by course organizers. Keep it up!
05/13/2008

Comment: Very good learning experience, good teachers, would have taken more advantage if acquanted with the computer software. May advice a pre test of the material as well as having different levels if possible. Great experience .Thanks .
05/13/2008
Comment: Highly recommend this intensive course for those interested in a one stop acquisition of coronary CTA skills. Course staff were very organized and demonstrated impressive workflow management to move through 54 patients and over 100 library case reviews. It certainly provides value for the dollar spent. Also their assistance to submit certification papers is appreciated. For those interested in coming, they provide a pocket book of CCTA by the course proctors, in addition to a DVD of lectures. Revewing the material beforehand is recommended. For those travelling, the final day is usually finished for most by 3pm. Although you can stay as long as needed to acheive the necessary numbers. So plan your flights accordingly.
05/13/2008
Comment: I cannot imagine a course more organized and complete. The course delivered everything it claimed and much more. The faculty were true teachers and very patient with the exponential learning curve of pathology and workstations. Appropriateness criteria were discussed in detail. A 130 page book was given to every participant 2-3 months ahead of time for review.
05/13/2008
Comment: Broad spectrum of cases Great hands-on experience Knowledgeable and patient faculty
05/11/2008

Comment: Excellent Course. Enthusiastic, interested faculty. Comprehensive course with plenty of live cases and a large case library. Each of the participants had a workstation to themselves. Would recommend highly to anyone interested in CTA.
01/29/2008
Comment: This was an excellent course! It has the correct balance of cases including coronary and structural heart disease taught by outstanding tutors who have both great interpersonal skills and an enthusisastic teaching style. Their ability to provide the full complement of cases (live + archived) in a 4 day course is a testament to their organizational skills and a commitment to optimizing the time spent learning and gaining new knowledge. An exceptionally highly ranked course!!
01/27/2008
Comment: Outstanding case selection and live cases for an excellent exposure to this rapidly evolving technology. All 4 of the instructors did an excellent job of covering the material with their own nuances of style.
01/26/2008
Comment: Phenomenal case volume; time well spent; collegial atmosphere; highly efficient staff
01/26/2008
Comment: It was an excellent course. The lectures on DVD and the CTA handbook were an excellent adjuvant to the course. The cases presented offered a wide spectrum of pathology. The only suggestion that I could offer would be to have the vendors offer some hands-on experience with the work station prior to the course.
01/25/2008
Comment: One of the best courses I have attended. The instructors were great and very available. It was excellently organised. The handbook is superb.
01/25/2008
Comment: excellent
01/24/2008
Comment: I really enjoyed this course. The instruction was great for the most part, though some were much slower than others. The days on the workstations were great, except I would have liked a little more independence instead of going through all the cases together. The workstations were excellent and the course was truly amazing in that all the live cases went through so smoothly.
01/24/2008
Comment: The course was very well organized. The lirbrary of cases as well as the live cases were diverse: Congenitals, Bypass grafts, stents, calcification, normal, prosthetic valves, etc. The staff was very approachable and knowledgable. I highly recommend it to others.
11/26/2007
Comment: Fabulous course. Well organized. Everyone involved with the course was extremely helpful. I highly recommend the course.
10/30/2007
Comment: I attended this four day level II course in October 2007. I am very satisfied with the educational content and hands on experience. The instructors including Drs. Pelberg, Mazur and Clarke did an outstanding job. We did more than 55 live cases by the scanner, not video or DVD, and saw a wide range of conditions including, CAD, grafts, bio and mechanical valves, ASDs, congenital anomalies etc. The mentored library is extensive and impressive. We worked on Tera Recon and Vital images work stations. We had good help and interaction with the vendors also. We were given a copy of Dr. Pelberg's CTA manual which was sent few weeks prior to the course and gave us a good review of CTA before we started the actual course. This course is really attractive because it includes two weekend days also. Good nourishments and meals provided through out the course. At the end of the course we all felt very confortable with CTA and really earned our CMEs tha hard way for level II CTA. I recommend this course without any reservations. Vishnu Kalidindi, M.D.,FACC.
10/28/2007
Comment: Best CME course (i.e the most I have ever learned) that I have ever attended. Intense and comprehensive. Left course feeling completely ready to interpret studies on my own.
10/23/2007
Comment: The best CME of my life! An awesome, very knowledgeable faculty who is present for the long hours for the entire duration of the course. Truly a great experience with a wealth of knowledge gained in just four days with 56 live cases and 110 cases from the library. Very well organized course. Would recommend it very very highly for anyone contemplating a CTA course.
10/22/2007
Comment: The course was superb. We had small group time with an expert reader, reviewing cases together. Superb hands on teaching to use the workstation were followed by our own, using the work station, manipulating the images, making our conclusions, checking them against expert readers, with many cath correlations. Questions were dealt with immediately by exemplary teachers, many with the patience of Job! I entered with zero skill in the field beyond clinical cardiology, and left with a thorough understanding and appreciation for utility, pitfalls, limitations and applications of the technique that I can put into my own practice immediately. We actually went through more than the required number of cases, probably 175 in all. I could not be more satisfied.

Comment: I attended the level II course and was very impressed with the program. The training was intensive and the instructors were excellent. I have recommended the course to my colleagues, one of whom will be attending in the near future. I would not hesitate to return for level III training, and I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to accelerate their learning of cardiac CTA.

Comment: This is the best hands on course anybody has ever been to. This was the most rigorous training with 4 instructors available ALL the time for any questions or issues. They go out of their way to make a participant understand the CTA mechanism and all the possible nuances of coronaries, anomalous coronaries, SVF LIMA RIMA grafts stents prosthetic valves redo surgeries shunts and some real simple artefacts. At the end of the 4 days I was quite confident in my capabilities to tackle most unknown cases. We had 56 live cases and over 100 library cases to work from scratch. There was no guess work as most had cath correlations!

Comment: Excellent variety of cases. Faculty are extremely helpful and are present at all times during the course. Days are long and full (12+ hours) but necessary for this excellent learning experience.

Comment: This was an excellent course well organized and conducted. They have taken all required steps to keep the trainees busy from the time they report till they are done. It was truly in letter and spirit a phenomenal "CTA BOOT CAMP."

Comment: Excellent training course for those who truly want to read cardiac CTA well. Extensive live case experience and amazing tutoring with our instructors staying with us literally from 6:30am to 10pm every day. Highly recommended as the model for what all other courses should be like.

Comment: Tremendous learning experience. Very intense, hands on, with highly experience physicians dedicated to teaching as much as possible in a four day period. It is a "boot camp"...but you have a tremendous experience. I believe it equals the experience of six weeks for a typical "fellow". You are treated "first class" during the whole program. It is the most outstanding learning experience I have ever had. A rating of "5"...is not enough. This is a perfect "10"!

Comment: Wonderful experience. I have attended other CT courses before and this by far tops them all. Intense 4 days of "hands on" learning with outstanding physician, technologist and vendor representative instructors. Instructors are truly experts and give personal attention to ensure learning by all attendees. Every detail of this course has great attention paid to it by everyone involved in the course. A very intense (long hours) 4 days but very educational and enjoyable. I definitely and strongly recommend this course without reservation to anyone seeking training in cardiac CTA .

Comment: Exceptionally enthusiastic faculty presents and proctors good bread and butter cases. The learning environment was perfect and the course organization was second to none. Non-physician staff were very helpful also. No detail was missed. I'm looking forward to attending again to gain Level-3 certification. If your schedule allows, take this class.

Comment: This was the most incredible learning experience of my academic career. As a radiologist I have directed CME courses myself, and understand the complexities of these endeavors. This course taught me how to read CCTA, what the implications of the pathology meant to the end-user, and what other tests could be used to correlate or augment the CCTA. The faculty was stupendous and was always available to answer any questions. The Technical staff was the finest I have ever seen. SCCT should use this course as a Standard for all other training endeavors. Lectures and syllabus materials were equally as germane. Bravo!!
