Dear Colleagues,

Following the completion of our 2nd Annual SCCT Cardiovascular CT Board Review Course, we can look back at another success. The course was again well attended and continues to be recognized as a popular source for preparation for the CBCCT Exam, being held this year on September 15th and 16th.

We have received excellent reviews of our course content and speakers, and this year offered the added benefit of the SCCT's new Cardiovascular CT Board Prep book, a dense resource of 450 questions with answers and explanations that will serve as a great resource for exam takers and anyone seeking to increase their fund of knowledge of cardiovascular CT. In addition, the DVD-ROM of the entire course was again made immediately available onsite, thanks to the tireless work of Astute Technologies, whose engineers literally stayed up all night burning DVDs! Look for these resources on SCCT.org.

Our audience is becoming more informed and current regarding all aspects of cardiovascular CT, as evidenced by the increase in correct answers to the many audience-response questions used throughout the course. We are very glad to see this, as our overarching goal is the dissemination of knowledge and best practices of cardiovascular CT. Kudos to the attendees!

We are already thinking ahead to next year's course, and will continue to challenge participants with a rigorous and thorough board prep course using our format of audience-response interactive lectures, the latest up-to-date information, end-of-day reviews of key images and questions, as well as a practice exam.

As a follow-up to the course , as we approach the exam date, a forum will be posted on SCCT.org to allow participants to field questions and get answers from our experts. This was very popular last year, and helped many to clarify lingering questions in preparation for the exam. Look for it in the Members Only section of the site.
