Announcing SCCTOP - Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography Outreach Program
As physicians are adapting more to the demands that come with medicine, medical students and even pre-medical students must learn how to keep up with these demands as well, before earning the title of physician. Students across North America have been eager to participate in discussions involving medicine, but since medical society meetings are healthcare professional targeted, students are looking for new and different platforms to get involved.
The SCCTOP is a new outreach program from the SCCT Advocacy Committee that offers an opportunity for innovative medical and pre-medical students to interact with mentors and contribute to the fight against cardiovascular disease through social media campaigns. Our volunteer program not only allows students to be competitive for medical school and residency applications, but also expands SCCT outreach by targeting new audiences through social media.
If you are interested in applying, please send the SCCTOP Application and your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We look forward to hearing from you.
